It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty R McCune (Douglass, Kansas), who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald Bracht and Alma Bracht; her husband Kenneth; her daughters, Sally Ann and Sandra Leigh; and her siblings, Donald Bracht and Donna Jean Watt.
She is survived by: her child Sonie; her grandchildren, Branson, Connor, Molly and Noah; her children, Steve McCune (Carla), Randy McCune (Shannon), Mike McCune (Lori), Tim McCune (Kim) and Mandi Rivera (Jamie); her brother Todd Bracht (Ramona); and her son-in-law Garry Truitt. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Mortuary (1415 N Rock Rd, Derby, KS 67037). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Douglass Church of Christ (201 W 1st St, Douglass, KS 67039).
