He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Twyla Thompson; and his former wife Judy Bridewell. He is survived by: his wife Susan Thompson; his stepchildren, Michael Strotkamp, Johney Strotkamp, Andrew Strotkamp and Crystal Strotkamp; his grandchildren, Austin Purk, Jayden Dalke, Mia Spencer, Gabriel Bowles and Raylen Bowles; his brother Derek Thompson; and his sister-in-law Colleen Thompson of Yolo, California..
Memorial Contributions. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Caring Hands Humane Society, 1400 SE 3rd St, Newton, KS, where Ron adopted his beloved dogs, Stormie and Ladybug, in his honor.
