He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Kratzer and Rachel Kratzer (Ruppert); his wife Diane Freese; and his siblings, Francis Kratzer, Lily Boger and Grace Reinert.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Kratzer (Mary) of Dwight, Kanas and Brenda A. Dulaney (Jonathan) of Junction City, Kansas; and his sister Marion Bauer of Maryland. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
