He was predeceased by: his brother Gerye Alan Butler. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Leffew of Augusta and Bethany Oxford of Great Bend, Kansas; his sister Cindy Hasty of Topeka; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Gage, Jaxon, Zain, Eli and Thea.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home (800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Auburn Cemetery (Auburn, KS 66402).
