She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Deschmidt (Johanna) and Johanna Hart; her husband Jeff Berg; her son Michael Hoover; her son-in-law Steve Headlee; and her brother-in-law Edward Kuffler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Headlee of Pennsylvania and Stephanie Romero (Carlos) of Edna; her grandchildren, Jennifer Scott (JR), Sarah Rosson (Brandon Lee), Charles Romero (Chandler), Lucy Aberle (Cal), Steven Day (Mykah), Jack Day and Sean Hoover-Zamora (Richie); her great grandchildren, Joey, Jacob, James Scott, Brooklyn Rosson, Braden, Jalen, Bryson, Jordyn Lee, Paizley Marshall, Sterling Fox, Ryan Romero, Finley, Strander Aberle and Kai Hoover-Zamora; her great great grandchild Joey Scott, Jr.; her sister Bernadine Kuffler of Parsons, Kansas; and also Darlene Vargas. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Edna Library or to the Edna Volunteer Fire Department; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
