He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ted" Fitzpatrick and Nellie Fitzpatrick (Herndon); his wife Lynne Heberly; his son Shane H. Fitzpatrick; his granddaughter Genny Fitzpatrick; his great grandchildren, Peyton and Kourtney Tyler; and his brothers, William "Howard" and Wendell "Fitz" Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Fitzpatrick (Beth) and Lynne Kurtz (Greg); and his grandchildren, Tyson Fitzpatrick (Lauren), Jake Kurtz (Brittany), Mitchel Kurtz (Kailen), Wesley Fitzpatrick (Becky), Chelsie Brown, Casey Fitzpatrick, Heather Primeaus (Leo) and Krystina Volle. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Atchison Humane Society, ACC Educational Foundation, or Heart-Strings and may be sent in care to the funeral home.
