He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Bomberger and Evelyn Bomberger (Robinson); and his brother Larry Bomberger. He is survived by: his pets, Bella and Rosie; his wife Alice Bomberger; his children, Kenny Besette (Megan), Ashley Bomberger (Dave) and Trent Bomberger (Terri); his stepdaughter Debi Leonard (Steve); and his sisters, Bernice Ball, Donna Grippin, Brenda Dryden, Patsy Stirton (Leonard) and Diane Besinger (Mike). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cummings Cemetery (2333 McPherson Rd, Cummings, KS 66016). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Effingham Blue Building (304 Main St, Effingham, KS 66023).
