She was predeceased by: her parents, Lea Grubb and Mae Grubb (Glendenning); her siblings, Leo, William, Milton, Kenneth, Raymond, Wayne and Alice; and her son-in-law Kermit Keplar.
She is survived by: her husband James McKenzie of El Dorado; her daughters, Deborah Keplar of Rosalia, Diane Ammerman (Rick) of El Dorado and Sue Bell (Casey) of El Dorado; and her grandchildren, Jacob Keplar, Caleb Keplar, Jessica Macleod, Monica Bowlin, Angela Tice, Christina Englett, Hannah Walter and Leah Walter. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home (200 S Star St, El Dorado, KS 67042). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Carlson Funeral Home (200 S Star St, El Dorado, KS 67042).
