The passing of Charlene Ann Giles (El Dorado, Kansas), born in Great Bend, Kansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pfenninger and Della Pfenninger; and her husband Benjamin M. Giles. She is survived by: her children, Richard Giles, Greg Giles (April) and Angela Crews (Adam); and her grandchildren, Gera Poeschel (Sam), Addie Giles, Ella Giles, Nathan Giles, Gage Crews (Erin Moore) and Taylor Crews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the El Dorado Senior Center (210 E 2nd Ave, El Dorado, KS 67042).

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters Serving Butler County.
