With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane McDaniel of El Dorado, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Gum; and her grandparents, Lawrence and Pauline Daniel. She is survived by: her mother Joy Gum of Derby, Kansas; her husband John McDaniel; her daughters, Shelly Conard (Clay) of Severy and Jenne Roe (Aaron) of Augusta, Kansas; her stepchildren, Andrew McDaniel of Appleton, Joe McDaniel of Wichita and Elizabeth Bush (Morgan) of Lenexa, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Dylan Conard, Charlie Conard, Levi Roe, Daniel Bush and Emma Bush; and her siblings, Bob Gum (Donna) of Louisville, Kentucky, Cindy Gadd (Mike) of Derby, Kansas and Anita Camfield (Jason) of Derby, Kansas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Trinity United Methodist Church in El Dorado, Kansas.
