He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schadler Thomas; his children, Erika VanFleet (Jason) of Topeka and Randall Thomas of Whitewater; his grandchildren, Dustin of Kechi, Dylan, Trent Gaskill, Sierra Thomas, Hailey Miller, Lily Thomas, Isabell VanFleet (Izzy), Laci VanFleet, Logan VanFleet, Bradyn Thomas, Eli Thomas and Riley Thomas; his siblings-in-law, Frank Howell of Hutchinson and Kelly Thomas of Wichita; his mother-in-law Doris Schadler-Clark of South Hutchinson; and his siblings-in-law, Melanie Hefton of Hutchinson, Rhonda Philbrick (Arley) of Hutchinson and Melvin Schadler (Donna) of Sterling.
