Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Simmons and Shirley Simmons (Eggen); his stepson Wayne Burris; his brother Larry G. Simmons; and his former wife Gail.
He is survived by: his wife Jana Busse of El Dorado; his son John Simmons (Andrea); his stepchildren, Steve Burris and Ashley Lakin; and his siblings, Connie Simmons, Gary Simmons (Sharon) and Joe Simmons (Kim).
