He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thomas and Thelma Thomas; and his stepson Ron. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thomas; his children, Darren of Ark City, KS, Karla Thomas-Carter (Greg) of Webb City, MO, Warren (Afton) of Des Moines, IA and Sean (Mindy) of North Liberty; and his stepdaughters, Valerie (Michael), Kimberly (Chris) and Natalie (Brian). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home (200 S Star St, El Dorado, KS 67042). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (300 W Central Ave, El Dorado, KS 67042). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Lawns Cemetery (2100 Sunset Rd, El Dorado, KS 67042).
