We announce the death of Kai Joon Hays of El Dorado, Kansas, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 21. Kai will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dr. Paul, Doris Uhlig, James and Mary Ann Hays; and his nephew Miles Hull.
He is survived by: his parents, Lori Hays and Kevin Hays; and his siblings, Jordan, Connor (Emily), Zoe (Paige), Mia, Ema, Adi (Tim), Leo, Victoria and Asa. He is also survived by one niece, two nephews, eleven cousins, and many loving aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.
