It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loren Kent Dodson of El Dorado, Kansas, who passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Loren find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dodson and Kathryn Dodson; and his brother Donald Dodson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Michelle Dennison and Kelle Kelly (Chris); his grandsons, Brandon Kelly and Zachary Kelly; and his brother Duane Dodson. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
In honor of Loren's deep love for animals, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in his name to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas.
