With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Lenore Rush (El Dorado, Kansas), born in Saint Paul, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Rita is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rita's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brillhart and Grace Brillhart (Atkinson); and her husband Bobby Rush.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (300 W Central Ave, El Dorado, KS 67042). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Lawns Cemetery (2100 Sunset Rd, El Dorado, KS 67042).
Memorial contributions in Rita's name may be directed to the First Christian Church of El Dorado.
