He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carmichael and Dorothy Eugene Everett; his granddaughter Hailey; and his sister Brenda. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelli Jones of El Dorado, Erin Wilson of Augusta and Brianna Meetze (Josh) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Axel, Jayden, Landen, Brenden, Mallory and Laikyn; his great grandchildren, Lorelai, Ezra, Carson and Ellie; and his siblings, Jim Carmichael (Becky) of Texas, Chris Carmichael (Sherry) of North Carolina and Nick Carmichael (Kim) of Texas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home (200 S Star St, El Dorado, KS 67042). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of El Dorado (315 W Central Ave, El Dorado, KS 67042). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Lawns Cemetery (2100 Sunset Rd, El Dorado, KS 67042). A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
