We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2023, at the age of 84, Jim Houtz of Elkhart, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Houtz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Maurice Charles and Lelia Belle Houtz (Cohenour); and his wife Reida Hale. He is survived by : his sons, Maurice "Moe" Paul Houtz (Marla) of Elkhart, Brett Alan Houtz (Margaret) of Ozawkie, John Charles Houtz (Terri) of Elkhart and Jimmy Dean Houtz of Elkhart; and his sister Kahla Preedy of Zale, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Point Rock Golf Club in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
