He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolea Virgil Wellen (Griffin) of Elkhart and Gordon Eugene Wellen; and his niece Cassi Lea Wellen. He is survived by: his nephews, CJ, Nicholas and Kyle Wellen; and his great-nephew Cory Wellen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Robson Funeral Home of Elkhart (120 Grant St, Elkhart, KS 67950). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elkhart Cemetery (801 North St, Elkhart, KS 67950).
A memorial has been established for the Church at Jake's Barn, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. 606, Elkhart, Kansas 67950.
