He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolea Virgil Wellen (Griffin) of Elkhart and Gordon Eugene Wellen; and his niece Cassi Lea Wellen. He is survived by: his nephews, CJ, Nicholas and Kyle Wellen; and his great-nephew Cory Wellen.
A memorial has been established for the Church at Jake's Barn, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. 606, Elkhart, Kansas 67950.
