Phillip Hernandez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2025, at the age of 84, Phillip Hernandez of Ellis, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Rick Hernandez; his stepchildren, Joe Villarreal, Jr., Micaela Villarreal Moreno and Estefana Villarreal; and his siblings, Hipolito Hernandez and Isabel Hernandez.

He is survived by: his wife Romanita Hernandez; his children, Marty Hernandez (Kim) of Beloit, Kansas, Amanda Hernandez of Wichita Kansas and Amparo Hernandez of Mexico; his stepdaughters, Connie Villarreal of San Angelo, Mary Helen Fernandez (Ernest) of Amarillo and Romanita "Romy" Macias (Greg) of San Angelo; his siblings, Elvira Hernandez-Espinoza, Martin Hernandez, Nicolasa Hernandez, Jose "Pepe" Hernandez and Leonor Hernandez; and his caregivers, Jessica Carrillo and Jennifer Zapata. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to: St. Mary's Catholic Church - Ellis in care of the funeral chapel.
