He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Louis Panzer and Selma F. Panzer (Hildebrandt). He is survived by: his sister Joyce Shields of Lindsborg, KS; and his sibling's children, Denise Peterson (Corey) of Lindsborg, Dennis A. Shields (Ghada) of McLean, VA and Daryl Shields (Marie) of Lindsborg. He is also survived by four great nieces, one great nephew, one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home (307 N Lincoln Ave, Ellsworth, KS 67439). The military honors will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Ellsworth Cemetery (915 E 8th St, Ellsworth, KS 67439).
