James Pruitt Obituary
The memory of James Pruitt of Ellsworth, Kansas, who passed away on September 12, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Pruitt and Dorothy Pruitt (Johnson); his wife Peggy; and his son James, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Joe Pruitt (Diana) of Bennington, KS, Damon Pruitt of Ellsworth and Megan Williams of Philadelphia; and his sisters, Lois Williams of California and Maudie Novotny (Don) of Wilson. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
