Jay Doubrava Obituary
We announce the death of Jay Doubrava of Ellsworth, Kansas, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 60. Jay will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jay will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jay will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jay’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Doubrava, Jr. and Henrietta M. Doubrava (Bettenbrock). He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Doubrava of Ellsworth and Jana Zook (Curtis) of Hutchinson; his nephew Brian Doubrava (Nancy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Declan and Stella.
