He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Rodriguez and Jessie Rodriguez (Uribe); his wife Mary; his son Jason; and his siblings, Marc, Angel, John, Rudy, Danny Rodriguez, Mary Lou Botello and Sipriana Bussing.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Cuellar (Abel) of Hutchinson, Gina Fernandez (Francisco) of Hutchinson and Marty Rodriguez of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Maricela, Emilio, Maria Fernandez (Bryant LaMunyon), Paul Cuellar (Alicia), Anjelica Cuellar (Brittany), Mardie Rodriguez, Zoie Jordan and Zach Bosquez-Rodriguez (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Gianna, Janessa, Abel Cruz, Eli, Alex, Jace and Taitin; and his siblings, Lupe Lutz, Francis Jacobo and Leon Rodriguez.
