It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVaughn Ruth Urban of Ellsworth, Kansas, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Duane Urban; her son Lance Aaron; her sister Mary Berry; her brother-in-law George Berry; and her brother Duane.
She is survived by: her mother Vivian Urban (McGuire); her grandchildren, Shelbie Emerson of Wichita and Timothy Emerson of Fort Myers, FL; and her siblings, Carol Soto (Pete) of Visalia, CA, Mildred Zurenda of Clearwater, FL, JoAnn Frederking (Lester) of Beaumont, KS, David Urban (Candi) and Richard Urban (Connie) of Lucas, KS. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
