She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas James and Eva Alberta Specht Duncan; her daughter-in-law Rita Kathryn Krueger McFadden (Michael); her son Patrick Lynn McFadden; her brothers, Philip Duncan, Dennis Duncan and James Duncan; her brother-in-law Barton Lackey; and her nephews, Kirk Duncan and Douglas Duncan.
She is survived by: her former husband Gerald Robert McFadden; her son Michael Thomas McFadden; her grandsons, Owen Michael McFadden and Nathaniel Thomas McFadden (Caitlin Lee); her daughter-in-law Anet Vyhanek Stevens (Patrick Lynn McFadden); her siblings, Patricia Anne Duncan Lackey and Larry Duncan (Rosalie); her sisters-in-law, Melody Parker Duncan (James Duncan), Daytha Williams Duncan (Phillip Duncan) and Mary Kay Pauler Wright; and also Joyce Arlene Fair. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, spouses.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801). Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (1600 Rd M5, Emporia, KS 66801).
