She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Stanley Leroy VanderVelde and Doris Elizabeth VanderVelde; and her siblings, Julie LeBlond and Kevin VanderVelde. She is survived by: her children, Angela Marie Letts (Kiani) and Joshua Michael Letts (Kim Ziemann); her husband Stephen Madison Letts; her grandchildren, Madi Kiani (Dominic), Aubrey Letts, Emma Letts and Isabel Letts; and her siblings, Jay VanderVelde (Linda), Matthew VanderVelde (Leah), Katrina Brown (Michael) and Eric VanderVelde (Leisa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to organizations supporting Alzheimer's research or initiatives that promote children's education.
