He is survived by: his children, J. Scott O'Mara (Beth), Shawn O'Mara (Michelle), Lori Johnson (Rodney), Danielle Armitage (Aaron) and Kristin Dennison (Andrew); and his grandchildren, Cody O'Mara, Cailin Swan, Brier, Callie Johnson, Tristin Clark, Adalynn, Kaitlynn, Delaney Armitage, Drew O'Mara, Kaden O'Mara and Levi Law. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (102 Exchange St, Emporia, KS 66801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
