Emiko Risley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2023, at the age of 92, Emiko Risley of Emporia, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emiko Risley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sannosuke Inoue and Aki Inoue (Uno); her husband Larry Grant Risley; and her son Michael. She is survived by : her children, Kevin Risley (Carolyn) of Emporia, KS and Tammy Montgomery (Jason) of North Pole, AK; her sister Matsue Nishio; her grandchildren, Bryson Risley, Haley Risley, Hana Risley, Kyla McClellan, Kadon McClellan and Hudson McClellan; and her great grandchildren, Isaiah McClellan, Emiko McClellan and Raya Risley.

Memorial donations can be made to the Soka Gakkai International or the Emporia Police Department Benefit Association, sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, Kansas, 66801.

“Your mother was a very special lady to our mother, Eunice Jasper. EMI was so much fun. We had lots of laugh and enjoyed many lunches with her. EMI was so full of life and so bright and positive.
