He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Christy and Wilda Christy (Reed); and his brothers, Jon, Marlin and Merlin Christy.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Christy of Elkhorn and Mark Christy of Olathe, Kansas; his grandchildren, Aaron Armitage (Danielle), Mallory Hoskinson (Jarrod), Taylor Christy and Lauren Christy; and his great grandchildren, Adalynn, Delaney, Kaitlynn Armitage, Lillian, Scarlett Hoskinson, Xavier Bueno and Skyler Foster.
