He is survived by : his wife Betty Jo of Emporia, KS; his children, Gary Plank (Kari) of Flagstaff, AZ, Elwin Plank (Sheri) of Andover, KS, Kevin Plank (Carrie) of Madison, AL, Stephanie Clements of Emporia, KS, Debbie Sack (Tom) of Lawrence, KS, Tina Plank of Emporia, KS and Sheryl Simonis (Chris); his siblings, Arvid Plank of Hope, KS, Angeline Stevens of Salina, KS and Janet Hofmann (J. R.) of Alta Loma, CA; his grandchildren, Adrian, Gwen, Joshua, Povi, Sayti, Jared, Lindsey, Jessica, Noah, Aaron, Ashley and Heather; his great grandchildren, Alex, Leah, Amos, Kennedy, Thomas, Elijah, Addison, Cannon, Josie, Brady and Charlie; and his friend Church of Emporia.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Embrace Church (428 Union St, Emporia, KS 66801).
