He was predeceased by: his parents, Everage Thomas and Alvina Thomas (Thies); his wife Norma Lee Armstrong; his brother-in-law Vaughn Thompson; his brother Glen; and his sister-in-law Catharine Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Thomas of Emporia, Charles Thomas (Kristi) of Converse, Sarah Thomas of Topeka and Donnita Thomas of Topeka; his sister Marjorie Thompson of Topeka; Angel Thomas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
