She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin J. Blough and Gertrude Blough (DeBoer); her husband Marland Smith; her stepdaughter Teresa Paige; her siblings, John Blough, Jerry Blough, Joyce McLear and Jane Blough; and her siblings-in-law, Eldon Smith, Harvey Stoner, Melvin Smith, Vernon Smith, Paul Nelson, Perry Droke, Irv LeClear, Larry Witcher, Lorena Stoner, Edna Smith, Mary Smith, Rita Nelson, Jerry Droke and Marva Blough.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Cheever (Zeke); her stepchildren, Gary Smith (Jeanine) and Debra Kennedy; her siblings, Jim Blough, Jay Blough (Mary), Joe Blough (Lisa) and Julia Rodgers; her siblings-in-law, Richard Smith (Frances), Verlene LeClear and Jolene Witcher; her grandchild Kelsey Dunn; her sister-in-law Emily Cheever; her stepgrandchildren, Chris Smith (Erica), Anisha O'Barto (Joe) and Tara Asher (Jarratt); her great grandchild Haven Dunn; her stepgranddaughters, Summer Dunn and Evelyn Miller; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaytlin Smith, Wade Smith, Sydney O'Barto-Eller (Braydon), Jolie O'Barto, Jillian Asher and Landon Asher; and her great great grandchild Georgia O'Barto-Eller. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (823 Merchant St, Emporia, KS 66801).
