He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Powell, and Ramona Powell, Sr. (Fitzpatrick); his sons, Andrew Powell (Lupe) and Todd Powell; his sisters, Jeannette Ast and Linda Wood; his grandchildren, Katarina, Lillian, Gabriel, Kyle, Emily, Karizma, Mailani, Jorden, Corduroy and Rosie; and his great grandchild Natalie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue or the Prairie Paws Animal Shelter in Emporia.
