Larry Roe Collins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2025, at the age of 95, Larry Roe Collins of Emporia, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roe Collins and Edith Collins; his son Doug Collins; his sister Beth Curchy; and his wife June Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Leigh Ann Collins of Overland Park, KS, Gus Collins (Sally) of Rose Hill and Mitchell Collins (Debra) of Blue Springs, Missouri; his granddaughters, Tara Keele (Brandon) of St. Louis and Brogan Huneke (Levi) of Georgetown, Texas; and his great grandchild Penelope Keele.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the American Legion (2921 W 12th Ave, Emporia, KS 66801).
In honor of Pear's life, memorial contributions may be made to Hand in Hand Hospice and sent to Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, PO Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
