He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell G Lyon and Betty Lyon (Smotherman); and his son Kirk. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Thompson; his daughter Ashley Rego (Al); his siblings, Michael Lyon, Peggy Parrish (Michael) and Anita Ramsey (Dan); his grandchildren, Aiden and Adler Rego; and his pet Bernard.
