With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sarah L. Chambers of Emporia, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Sarah departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sarah. Though Sarah may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hutcherson and Frances Hutcherson (Allen); and her grandfathers, Quintus Marcellus Hutcherson and Thorton Allen. She is survived by: her children, Robert L. Chambers (Patti), Rochelle Chambers, Steven L. Chambers (Alice) and Mary Richardson (Robert). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the New Covenant (2300 E 6th Ave, Emporia, KS 66801).
