It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Blanche Harshbarger of Englewood, Kansas, who passed away on September 1, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chloe Ashcraft Hitz and Martin H. Ashcraft; her siblings, Nancy, Norma and Melvin; and her great grandchild Hadley.

She is survived by: her significant other John "Spike" Harshbarger; her grandchildren, Bret, Maci, Ryan, Jory, Layne and Landon; her children, Alan (Janell), Scott (Kathy) and Lynda (Dave); and her sisters-in-law, Alfreda Harshbarger Doherty and Wilma Harshbarger Moore.
