It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley K. Marihugh of Esbon, Kansas, born in Long Branch, New Jersey, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Hughes and Doris Hughes (Dey); her son Scott Andrew; and her husband Glenn E. Marihugh. She is survived by : her children, Brenda Seaman (Lon) of Downs, KS, Karen Loeffelman (Eduard) of Festus, MO, Sandra Zabel (Steven) of Chattanooga, TN and Mark Marihugh (Kathy) of McPherson, KS; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Long (Katie), Julie (Derek) of Graaf, Chad Seaman, Candace Seaman (Alfred Jackson), Clark Seaman (Sharla), Cory Loeffelman (Jordan), Melanie Byrd (Keaton), Andrew Zabel (Rebecca Brannon), Sam Zabel, Lily Zabel, Cody Marihugh, Trevor Marihugh (Ina), Bree Marihugh, Lynnea Marihugh, Rhys Marihugh (Hailey Gehle), Trey Marihugh, Brittney Miller (Andrew), Jacob Senger (Jodeci Constantino), Shawn Marihugh, Tiffani Marihugh (Dylan Williams) and Guim Pallas (Elisa). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, extended family, and a community of friends.

The family suggests memorials to the Esbon Community Church in care of the Melby Mortuary.
