He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burtle F. Breithaupt and Lela G. Hammer Breithaupt; his children, Ann Basel (Danny) of Eudora and Delbert Breithaupt Jr. of Wellsville; and his great grandchildren, Cainan Shutt and Landyn Brinkerhoff.

Memorials are suggested to Eudora Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
