He is survived by: his wife Barbara Reid Rider; his children, Mitchell Rider of Lawrence, Susan Rider Pelzel (Joe) of Eudora, Dee Ann Seiwald Andrews (Scott) of Boulder and Theresa Seiwald of Eudora; his grandchildren, Spencer Pelzel (Elizabeth) of Dallas, Reid Pelzel of Ada, London, England and Grace Andrews of Silverthorne, Colorado; and his sister Mary Seiwald Hennessey of Jacksonville, Florida..
A rosary will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Calendar Warren-Mcelwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel (1003 John L Williams Dr, Eudora, KS 66025). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (409 E 8th St, Eudora, KS 66025). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
