He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Grems and Anna Grems (Clark); and his siblings, Robert Grems, JoAnn Brown, Jane Howard and Virginia Ritsema.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Jimmy Grems, Jason Grems and Jennifer Morgan (Joel) of Clear Lake, SD; his stepson Jeff Patchen (Sarah) of Topeka, KS; his siblings, Bill Grems of Denver, CO, Ruth Lee of Eudora, KS and Linda Gaffney (Virginia Ritsema); his grandchildren, Amanda Jansen (Jeremy) of Sioux Falls, SD and Grant Morgan (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Paisley, Easton, Ellie, Hadley of Fargo, ND, Allison Bratland (Joshua) of Sioux Falls, SD and Annika Avery (Austin); and also, Lily, Lucy of Fargo, ND, Penny and June Carter.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Quisenberry Funeral Home (604 E 4th St, Tonganoxie, KS 66086). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hubbel Hill Cemetery (3846 w 75th street, Tonganoxie, KS 66086).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Douglas County Humane Society or Midland Hospice Care.
