Mary C. Whitten Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary C. Whitten (Eudora, Kansas), who passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary C. Whitten to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William John and Nellie Corbidge (Greenwood); her husband Lou; her son Joseph Arnold Whitten; her great grandchild Olivia Katherine Elizabeth Whitten; and her sister Patricia Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Mary, Thomas Earnest Whitten (Arlene), Virginia Alice Whitten and William John Whitten (Lori); her grandchildren, Shannon Steffan, Clayton Whitten, Brent Whitten, Joseph Whitten, Sara Petry, Michael Whitten, Heather Erickson, Mark Petry, Alexander Whitten and Nicole Whitten; and her pet Blusey. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eudora City Cemetery (2220 N 1420 Rd, Eudora, KS 66025).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association (785-843-3738).
