In loving memory of Carol Ann (Smethers) Hart of Eureka, Kansas, born in Emporia, Kansas, who departed this world on May 5, 2024 at the age of 94. As Carol Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carol Ann. Though Carol Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ferdinand "F. A." Smethers and Ann Smethers (Whitaker); and her husband Bill. She is survived by : her brother-in-law Sam (Pat Hart). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (521 N Main St, Eureka, KS 67045).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Eureka First United Methodist Church.
