Carol Olson Obituary
We announce the death of Carol Olson of Eureka, Kansas, who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 86. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Francis and Sarah Elizabeth Wade (Moore); her husband Robert Henry Olson; her grandson Kurtiss Olson; and her siblings, Herman Francis Wade, Lyle Willis Wade, Verna Marie Agard, Roy Edwin Wade, June Elizabeth Bowen-Scott, Lela Margaret Allyn, Mildred Alice Sheehy, Alma Amelia Walford, Charles Welling Wade, Clara Hope Petty and Harley Lloyd Wade.
She is survived by: her children, Chris (Gary Brammer) of Emporia, Loretta (Tim Gulick) of Eureka, Carlene (Pat Nuessen) of Wichita and Wade Olson (Julie Smith) of Lawrence; Myrtle Becker of Lincoln, Nebraska.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Kansas Humane Society or to the Greenwood County Hospital Foundation.
