Earl left this world on December 25, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lyle and Hazel Alice Urton (Louk); his wife Sharron Ilene Soule; his grandchildren, Megan Lee DeCoursey and Bryce Michael Urton; and his brothers, Howard Eugene "Buster" Urton, Charles A. Urton and Virgil Lyle Urton.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Urton (Micki) of Rose Hill, Kansas and Teresa (Russ DeCoursey) of Charlotte, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Melissa (David Scribner), Renee (Nathan Powers), Bridgette (Jason Cauthen), Brian Urton (Mary) and Aaron Hynick (Becca). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
