It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor M McCary (Eureka, Kansas), born in Numa, Iowa, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Giovanni "John" Lira and Genoveffa "Geneva" Lira (Botton); her former life partner Thomas R Noll; her husband William J. McCary; her brothers, Geldo "G. A.", Ronnie P. "Romie", Premo "John" and Louie Lira; and her stepdaughter Michelle "Mikki" Somers.

She is survived by : her children, John (Kathy Noll), Karen (Wally Harder), Sharon Ionetz (Ron DeNova), Linda Zemlo and Chuck (Jackie McCary). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 18+ great-grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Adrian, MI.
