He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis Lorain and Thelma Violet Black (Roberts); his wife Viola Mae Drake (Blevins); and his stepchildren, Ernest Eugene Drake and Susan Ann Wells.
He is survived by : his daughter Christine Kramer of Ashland; his half-brother Elbert Fitch of Fort Worth, Texas; and his stepson Richard Drake of Eureka. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
