It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Escareno of Eureka, Kansas, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Gabriel and Moetta Lee Escareno (Herren); and his sister Lucy Lynn Escareno. He is survived by : his wife Marcia Ann Manzer; his children, Brandon (Sara Escareno) of Eureka, Lacie Wilson of El Dorado, Ryan (Amanda Escareno) of Eureka, Greyson (Ashlee Escareno) of Eureka and Hailey Escareno (Jesse Mullins) of El Dorado; and his siblings, Teresa Escareno of Eureka, Katherine Neel of Eureka, Roberta Hawthorne of Eureka, Richard Escareno of Madison and Thomas Escareno of Eureka. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Greenwood County Wild Kansas Association (for John Escareno Scholarship Fund) or to the Eureka Booster Club.
