John Mock Obituary

The memory of John Mock of Eureka, Kansas, who passed away on February 6, 2026 at the age of 100, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Mock and Clara Leota Mock (Jacobs); his wife Mary Ellen (Brown); and his siblings, David Mock and Wilma Giese (Mock).

He is survived by: his sister Maedellee Scott of Turon; his nieces and nephews, Susie (James Humphrey) of Hutchinson, Terri Eskew of Kingman, Linda Thompson of Wichita, Gary (Debbie Scott) of Lyons and Don Mock of Emporia; Jennifer Bain, Shawna Scott, Jessica Richardson, Rob Eskew, Les Weaver, Dustin Dubberstein, Tracey Weaver, Shannon Harrison, Kieryn Bain, Allie Eskew and Carter Eskew. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to VFW Post 2712, for which he himself gave so much time and effort.
